American Airlines is a major United States airline which was founded in 1931 and started operating in 1934. Web check-in begins 24 hours before travel and ends one hour before departure. Commuters who cannot check in online or need customised attention can do it at the airport or at one of American Airlines' check-in desks. Arrive at least two hours before departure for domestic flights and three hours before departure for international flights to help check-in, baggage drop-off, and luggage drop-off go more smoothly.
